There is a new dawn on the horizon.

Gentlemen,

Please prepare yourselves. Do the work that's required. Prepare yourselves for the suffering, for the effort, for adversity. Prepare yourselves for the coming fight. There is a new dawn on the horizon and the day to come will bring hardships. There will be only one way the we will survive, excel and triumph, loyalty to the team and to your team mates. There is no other way! Commit now! Take the pledge that you will do your part. Be a patriot of the HARTland and work to prepare for the revolution. Be a Patriot, Citizen, Worker and Rebel of the Homeland of America Race Team and be ready. We don't do it for the glory, we do it for our Nation.

Gratitude to T. Shanley for the artwork

More to come,

Cyclocross Win

Steve Haggeman takes a solid win at the Pikes Peak Cyclocross Cat4 race in Colorado Springs! Steve led from the gun, never looked back, and won with a solid margin! Congrats Steve!

Another HART Champion!

Brent Hanlin - Colorado Criterium State Champ!

Brent decided to send the season out in style, by winning the USA Cycling Colorado State Criterium Championship title at the Parker Twilight Crit in front of a tough field!

Congrats on the win Brent!

Has anyone come across pictures of the win!?

Nationals, Dillon and Copper Crits

It was a rain-soaked race at the National Crit championships. Nick got caught up in a crash in the final corner, but from what I hear is okay, and just more hungry for another major win! Not the picture we were hoping to see of the HART kit on Cyclingnews.com, but that can be racin'.

We had a big local team at the Dillon crit on Saturday. It was a tight, twisty, short course, but still a great course, and well organized. Chad, Paul, Dan, Brent, Ewam, Nate, Carlos and myself all made it out for this one. Unfortnately The Welsh-Tornado took the last turn a bit too hot and went down. But Brent made it up to 6th in the finale.

The pavement bites back at the Tornado
The Copper course sounded pretty awesome as well. I say "sounded" because I didn't make it back up for that one. Paul was back on the bike though, and raced, along with Dan (who took out 9th place), Brent and Nate.

The Niwot crit is this weekend, and the following weekend we should see a local team at the Santa Fe road race, and a second team heading out to the Gateway Cup in St. Louis.

Salida

This past weekend was the Salida Omnium.

Nice job Dan P. with a 7th in the overall, including 5th in the TT and 9th in the road race. Nick did an awesome job in the crit, taking 2nd place there.

The gang meets up in the shade of the Sports Optical tent for a pre-race meeting...

...before the sky completely opens up, 20 minutes into the race.
