Nationals, Dillon and Copper Crits

It was a rain-soaked race at the National Crit championships. Nick got caught up in a crash in the final corner, but from what I hear is okay, and just more hungry for another major win! Not the picture we were hoping to see of the HART kit on Cyclingnews.com, but that can be racin'.

We had a big local team at the Dillon crit on Saturday. It was a tight, twisty, short course, but still a great course, and well organized. Chad, Paul, Dan, Brent, Ewam, Nate, Carlos and myself all made it out for this one. Unfortnately The Welsh-Tornado took the last turn a bit too hot and went down. But Brent made it up to 6th in the finale.

The Copper course sounded pretty awesome as well. I say "sounded" because I didn't make it back up for that one. Paul was back on the bike though, and raced, along with Dan (who took out 9th place), Brent and Nate.

The Niwot crit is this weekend, and the following weekend we should see a local team at the Santa Fe road race, and a second team heading out to the Gateway Cup in St. Louis.
